About Xcaret Mexico

To give you some background….

From the Xcaret Mexico Website

“In December 2017, Hotel Xcaret México opened its doors to offer the best of Mexico included. It was born as a tribute to Mayan culture and to our country, its artisans, its gastronomy, its living wealth and its cultural heritage.
We are characterized by our hospitality and the excellence in our service, which have given us several recognitions, among them a 5 Diamond certification. Each achievement is a commitment to Mexico and to you. We invite you to know México through our love for it.

Suites

Wake up to a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea, to our iconic inlets, an emerald color river or to protected areas of the Mayan jungle.
From now on, let our specialized service, the handmade crafts and the interior design be the perfect scenario for an amazing rest. All the decor elements in our 900 suites were created by local talent from vulnerable communities, acquired with a fair commerce vision and commitment to the social development of our country.

Dining

With 11 restaurants to choose from, all tastes are catered to. Our Culinary Collective will pamper you with flavors that connect the magic of traditional Mexican food with the best of international cuisines.”

Better than all inclusive is all-fun inclusive

Our All-Fun Inclusive concept is an experience that has redefined and surpassed the traditional All Inclusive hotel concept in Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya since December 2017.

All-Fun Inclusive benefits included in a Hotel Xcaret México booking are: access and transportation to all Grupo Xcaret parks, premium dining experiences and round-trip airport transfers.

All of the fun is included in your price through this website. Unlimited delicious food, beverages (alcoholic and non, top shelf, etc). Excursions to the most sought-after attractions in the Riviera Maya area are also included with transportation.

About The Hotels

The entire wedding is arranged by Xcaret Hotel Mexico, which is part of X Group, that owns Xcaret Hotel Mexico, Xcaret Arte, Casa De La Playa, and all of the parks around the area starting with an “X”. Therefore, all of these excursions starting with an X are included in the all-fun inclusive package offered by the hotels. (see explore page for more)

Xcaret Arte is about a 2 minute walk away from Xcaret Hotel Mexico. Xcaret Hotel Mexico was built in 2018, and Xcaret Arte (Adults-Only) was built in 2020.

We initially thought that everyone would stay in Xcaret Hotel Mexico, but just found out about Xcaret Hotel Arte on our last trip there by accidentally walking to it, and with the drone.

As you can see there are 2 hotels that we will be staying at, but they’re basically the same and they’re connected. We would really like to keep the group together as much as possible, so we’ll all be hanging out in Xcaret Hotel Mexico together and eating at their restaurants.

However, if some people would like a more chill option where no kids are allowed and rooftop pools, you can choose to stay in either Casa Fuego in Xcaret Hotel Mexico (directly to the right of the infinity pool), or stay in Xcaret Hotel Arte. Guests of Xcaret Hotel Arte can use all facilities and restaurants of Xcaret Hotel Mexico. Only guests of Fuego can go to Xcaret Hotel Arte.

Where Will We All Be?

We think that the group will mainly be here ~ at the infinity pool overlooking the ocean. It is HUGE and fits all of us with plenty of space! There is a swim-up bar in the middle of the photo, and to the left of it, also seemingly on the pool, is a seafood restaurant called Trajineras (that emulates the Trajineras ships that used to transport goods down Mexican rivers!). It has amazing fresh seafood (whole fish, octopus, squid, etc) for lunch, and the best ceviche I’ve ever had (you choose what you want and they make it right in front of you!) You can be serenaded with a traditional Mexican dance or band that they sometimes have next to the pool or playing around the hotel.

We think that this will be the main central spot, as well as the meet-up spot. On the drone photo, you can see that it is all the way to the left. It is directly next to the OCEAN VIEW suites in Xcaret Hotel Mexico. (these are the suites pictured on the left of this panorama photo, going all the way back).

If we want a change from the pool, we can hop in the natural river flowing through the hotel. (That you can see some of in the right of the panorama photo, and that you can clearly see in the drone photo). You can paddleboard, kayak, or swim in the river, and there is an incredibly fun mini adult slide hidden near the back of the river :) There is SO MUCH to explore, and even the middle, on the other side of the river, you can get out and explore and hike in there. It is so much fun and so incredibly cool!!!

Other great news: it seems like a big hotel, and that there would be a lot of people, but during the day, there is barely anyone at the hotel, because the vast majority of hotel guests are out on the manifold excursions offered, seamlessly arranged, and included in your all-fun inclusive package. We will have so much fun and squad up the hotel.

We can also do excursions and many other things, but we want to clarify that for booking rooms, we seriously estimate that we will be hanging out primarily in Xcaret Hotel Mexico and eating there, so as not to exclude anyone who cannot come to Xcaret Arte.

Xcaret Arte has a few other perks (workshops and rooftop pools and bars) (sorry we didn’t know about this before), so people can choose to stay there if they want the OPTION of having a more chill place to go back to or relax in for a little bit, but we really hope to keep the group together most of the time.

Because that’s why we’re all there, to be together and to unite!

(Sorry for the long intro, we just want to explain and clarify everything to everyone! xoxoxoxo can’t wait!!!)

Are You Bringing Kids?

They’re totally welcome! That’s why we chose Xcaret Hotel Mexico! We know many of you have kids! (We didn’t even look at Arte to be honest, and didn’t know about it until the last day when I flew my drone and we accidentally walked there!)

If you ARE bringing your children (16 and younger), then you MUST stay in Xcaret Hotel Mexico, please :)

Xcaret Hotel Mexico and Xcaret Hotel Arte are the exact same (as you can see from photos), and right next to each other (about a 2 minute walk away), and they do many activities together (such as yoga). Xcaret Hotel Arte is adults-only, so our wedding coordinator tells us that the ambiance is more chill and quiet and relaxed than at Xcaret Hotel Arte.

Xcaret Hotel Arte guests are allowed to go to Xcaret Hotel Mexico and use all of the restaurants and facilities and everything (and people staying at Arte will be at Xcaret Hotel Mexico with the group pretty much the whole time). However, guests staying at Xcaret Hotel Mexico cannot go inside of Xcaret Hotel Arte and use their facilities and restaurants.

Xcaret Mexico =x> Arte

Xcaret Mexico <= Arte can go

Xcaret Arte (Adults-Only)

If you prefer to have the ability to retreat to an adults-only sanctuary, with rooftop pools and various art workshops, you may stay right next door in Xcaret Arte. It is on the right side of the spiral in the drone video. (The spiral is a church and conference room and place for weddings and brunch).

The room categories are:

  • River View Suite

  • River View Suite (Casa Artistas)

  • Ocean View Suite

  • Ocean View Suite (Casa Artistas)

The rooms are the same, and the hotel is the same concept, it is just adults-only.

Casa Artistas is the most ocean-front building in Arte, and has a private restaurant to this building. The rooftop pool on this building is also unfortunately exclusive to this building only.

Xcaret Hotel Mexico (allows children)

If you have children, or prefer to stay by the main infinity pool, you should stay in Xcaret Hotel Mexico. (On the left side of the drone photo)

The room categories here are:

  • Garden View Suite

  • River View Suite

  • Ocean View Suite

  • Ocean View Adults-Only (Fuego)

You may stay wherever you wish. As we said before, we think that we will mainly be hanging out in Xcaret Hotel Mexico and using their restaurants so that everyone can be together. Arte is just if you want a more quiet place to be able to retreat to and rooftop pools.

(You can also experience that by staying in Casa Fuego, which is the adults-only building in Xcaret Hotel Mexico. Guests of Casa Fuego can go to Xcaret Hotel Arte, but guests of other buildings in Xcaret Hotel Mexico cannot go to Xcaret Hotel Arte).

Important note: guests of Xcaret Hotel Mexico who are not staying in Casa Fuego cannot go to Arte.

So if you would like to go to Arte and use the facilities and restaurants of Arte, then you must book a room to stay in Arte.

Let’s unite

The Rates

We understand that the room rates are very expensive. We really really apologize and tried as hard as we could to get the rates down as much as possible. To make it more affordable, we are subsidizing every person by $50 per night for Friday-Sunday night (the night of the 9th, 10th, and 11th to stay through the day on the 12th). We apologize and do not want money to be an issue for anyone, we just wanted it to be the best and most fun experience for everyone, so if anybody requires extra financial assistance, please contact Aliz and Alex directly, and we can make arrangements. It is about everybody being together and having the best time, so we’ll make it work! Thank you for understanding, and we KNOW that EVERYONE will have such an unbelievably incredible time!!!

Remember that EVERYTHING is included in your daily per-person rate!!! This includes not only the room (with free minibar ;)), but also all amazing top-quality food at 11 restaurants+, all amazing beverages (so yummy and top-shelf liquor especially tequila and mezcal!), ALL excursions and transportation to them, which are the most sought-after excursions in the area, and so much fun on the property and around it and more! It is worth it, we promise!

Thank you all so much and we are so excited to create these magical and unforgettable experiences together!!! See you soon! <3 xoxox

How The Rates Are Calculated:

The rates are per-person rates

(because it is all-fun-inclusive and everything is included for everyone, not just the room).

The per-person rate for a single-room is more expensive than the per-person double-room rate.

The third person or child staying in the room’s per-person rate is lower than the per-person double rate.

Children under 7 years old stay for free.
