Are You Bringing Kids?

They’re totally welcome! That’s why we chose Xcaret Hotel Mexico! We know many of you have kids! (We didn’t even look at Arte to be honest, and didn’t know about it until the last day when I flew my drone and we accidentally walked there!)

If you ARE bringing your children (16 and younger), then you MUST stay in Xcaret Hotel Mexico, please :)

Xcaret Hotel Mexico and Xcaret Hotel Arte are the exact same (as you can see from photos), and right next to each other (about a 2 minute walk away), and they do many activities together (such as yoga). Xcaret Hotel Arte is adults-only, so our wedding coordinator tells us that the ambiance is more chill and quiet and relaxed than at Xcaret Hotel Arte.

Xcaret Hotel Arte guests are allowed to go to Xcaret Hotel Mexico and use all of the restaurants and facilities and everything (and people staying at Arte will be at Xcaret Hotel Mexico with the group pretty much the whole time). However, guests staying at Xcaret Hotel Mexico cannot go inside of Xcaret Hotel Arte and use their facilities and restaurants.

 
 

Room Types - Xcaret Hotel Mexico

 

River View Suite

Quiet and serene, these River View suites will have you feeling relaxed and in a wonderful world. You can hear the water moving a bit, the breeze playing with the leaves, and enjoy people- and fish-watching as people swim and paddleboard, and the leaves in the rivers are cleaned every morning.

You may be lucky enough to be placed next to one of the many waterfalls on the property!

Ocean View Suite

In Casa Tierra or Casa Espiral, these family-friendly suites sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Boasting beautiful views of the turquoise waters, these are views you don’t want to miss.

Ocean View Adults-Only Suite

Private building for only guests of the adults-only building within the hotel.

The only rooftop pool in the hotel is here, also a rooftop bar and extensive snack foods and small plates, as well as an a-la-carte restaurant downstairs, and private pool downstairs for only guests of this building. There are other exclusive privileges listed below in detail.

 
 

What’s The Difference?

There is no difference in the interiors of the rooms. The only difference between the rooms is the views.

To be more specific, the only difference between the River View Suite and the Ocean View Suite is the view. One looks out onto the River, which is still very peaceful and tranquil, and the Ocean View looks out onto the Ocean, and probably the infinity pool in the middle of the hotel where we’ll be hanging out.

The Adults-Only Ocean View in Fuego has the same room, but different perks within the building. such as the only rooftop pool in Xcaret Hotel Mexico, a separate restaurant, a butler, private check-in, and other perks listed below.

(If you prefer the Adults-Only option, and would like access to more restaurants and rooftop pools, a nightclub, artist workshops, and a more tranquil and quiet atmosphere, you can choose to book a room in Xcaret Arte instead, that is a 2 minute walk away).

Fuego - Adults Only

 

Fuego

The only adults-only building in the Hotel Xcaret Mexico.

This building and its amenities are available only to guests staying in this building, not the entire hotel.

The only building with a rooftop pool (infinity pool), and a rooftop bar and foods. Also has an a-la-carte restaurant for only guests of this building.

These rooms also come with private check-in and a private butler to take care of your questions, needs, and any additional reservations or requests throughout the stay.

Fancy Sunday Brunch in the cave restaurant is also included.

 
 

  • Fuego is for ADULTS ONLY - you are only allowed to stay here if you are age 18+

    ~ Alternatively, you can stay at Xcaret Arte which is on the other side of the pyramid, about a 2 minute walk away. That is Adults Only ages 16+.

    Every building except Casa Tequila has a rooftop pool in Xcaret Arte.

    Fuego is the only rooftop pool in Xcaret Hotel Mexico.

  • Fuego is a higher per-person rate than the other buildings in the hotel, because there are so many exclusive amenities available only to guests of Fuego. (See next drop-down)

    Guests of Fuego have a different colored wristband (red) to differentiate themselves from the rest of the hotel (grey).

    (Though we will have a separate color for the wedding group anyways).

  • Included with Fuego rooms that are not included with other rooms:

The Rates

We understand that the room rates are very expensive. We really really apologize and tried as hard as we could to get the rates down as much as possible. To make it more affordable, we are subsidizing every person by $50 per night for Friday-Sunday night (the night of the 9th, 10th, and 11th to stay through the day on the 12th). We apologize and do not want money to be an issue for anyone, we just wanted it to be the best and most fun experience for everyone, so if anybody requires extra financial assistance, please contact Aliz and Alex directly, and we can make arrangements. It is about everybody being together and having the best time, so we’ll make it work! Thank you for understanding, and we KNOW that EVERYONE will have such an unbelievably incredible time!!!

Remember that EVERYTHING is included in your daily per-person rate!!! This includes not only the room (with free minibar ;)), but also all amazing top-quality food at 11 restaurants+, all amazing beverages (so yummy and top-shelf liquor especially tequila and mezcal!), ALL excursions and transportation to them, which are the most sought-after excursions in the area, and so much fun on the property and around it and more! It is worth it, we promise!

How The Rates Are Calculated:

The rates are per-person rates

(because it is all-fun-inclusive and everything is included for everyone, not just the room).

The per-person rate for a single-room is more expensive than the per-person double-room rate.

The third person or child staying in the room’s per-person rate is lower than the per-person double rate.

Children under 7 years old stay for free.
